How does Beatcan work?
How am I allowed to use your content?
Beatcan is a subscription service. Once subscribed, you have unlimited access to download everything in the library - as much as you want, as often as you want. Once you download a file it is yours to keep and use forever, royalty-free, even if you change your subscription or cancel your account.
What does royalty-free mean?
Our content may be used for any project, commercial or otherwise, including but not limited to use in feature films, broadcast, commercial, industrial, educational video, print, and multimedia projects, games, and the internet content. Once you download a file, it is yours to keep and to use forever, royalty-free, even if you change your subscription or cancel your account.
What browsers are compatible with Beatcan?
Royalty-free is a type of license in perpetuity that allows unlimited use of the licensed content in media projects, and without having to pay royalty fees.
I have a registered account, so why am I unable to login?
All browsers support Beatcan. However, some older versions of Safari and Internet Explorer have trouble handling certain features of the site. We recommend using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox for best results.
I forgot my username or password. What can I do?
First, make sure you're logging in on the member login page
The audio files aren't downloading. How do I download them?
You can use your registered username or email address as your username. If you forgot your password, click the "Forgot Password" button on the login page. If you receive an error message after attempting to login, please contact us, and give us the exact message that you received to help us identify the problem.
I can't find my downloaded files on my computer. Where are they?
Sometimes a browser will try to open an audio file in a new tab or application, rather than download it. Right-click the Download button and choose "Save File As" (or whichever similar option is given depending on your browser).
Why are certain functions only available in the top level subscriptions?
Check your browser's settings to see where downloads are automatically saved on your computer, or to change that location. To specify a download location for individual files, right-click the download button and choose "Save File As" (or whichever similar option is given depending on your browser).
I don't have Pro-Tools. Can I still get the full session files in another format?
We wanted to have a subscription level for everyone?s needs. The top levels are created for professionals where time is critical, and these functions will save them a tremendous of time. The accessible audio files are the regardless of the subscription level.
Can I produce work for you?
No. Pro-Tools is the industry standard which we have adopted as our file standard, but you can create your own session in your favorite DAW by downloading all the stems from the files you want.
I was billed, but I don´t want to continue my subscription. Can I be issued a refund?
Possibly. We are always looking for talent. Please email us a link to your sound cloud. No mp3 files or long letters are accepted. If we like what we hear, we will contact you. We have very high standards, so not all applicants are accepted.
How do I cancel my account?
You may request a refund for your subscription period(s) as long as you did not download any files during the period(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide any refunds if you have downloaded files.
You may cancel on the website, or you may contact us by email, and we can cancel the account for you. To cancel by contacting us, please email email@example.com, and we will confirm within 24h. Please note that canceling your account does not automatically issue a refund. To request a refund, please contact our support team by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and your request will be evaluated by our staff.
